Meet the Author
What are your books about?
At their heart, my books are about young women discovering who they’re meant to be and making their burdens work for them. They’re ambitious and full of want and willing to do (nearly) anything to achieve their ends.
Less seriously, they’re about girlies with anxiety running around in historical clothing as they hunt ghosts or murderers.
What’s your favorite book?
Like all good bookworms…it kind of depends! My recent favorite was The Stolen Heir by Holly Black; the one I just couldn’t put down was Through the Woods by Emily Carroll; but I measure my life in before and after I read Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo.
Besides books, what else do you like?
If you can’t tell, I’m a sucker for all things spooky and historical. I love learning about English history and monarchs, and subsequently boring people with my knowledge. I love antique stores, red wine, and every cat I’ve ever met. My favorite movie is The Pirates of the Caribbean (the first three, and no I will not pick one); my favorite TV series is Downton Abbey; my favorite musical group is The Crane Wives; and my favorite podcast is And That’s Why We Drink.
Meet Harri
Harri graduated from Austin College with a BA in Theatre and currently works as a Content Writer in Dallas, TX. When not writing and reading, she can be found drinking wine and eating dessert, looking at old things, celebrating Halloween year-round, and generally being an introvert.
Meet Millicent
Millicent is her mother’s favorite (and only) daughter, and is loving her wet food only diet now that she has no teeth. When not looking out windows and judging the neighbors, she can be found snoozing, causing chaos in the middle of the night, and generally being a spooky lady.
